Furniture Care

Leather Care and Maintenance

(continued)
  • Butter, oil or grease gently wipe the material off the leather with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it alone as the spot should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water or other liquids.

  • Never use:

    • saddle soap (whether abrasive or not)
    • soap
    • furniture polish or oils
    • varnish
    • detergent or other cleaning products
    • mentholated spirits or ammonia water

  • Do not use any products containing silicon or solvents of any kind (this includes acetone or nail polish remover). Use of these materials may lead to damage or destruction of the finish and/or color of your leather and will void any warranty you might otherwise have.
